I Had A Little Nut-Tree,

I had a little nut-tree,
Nothing would it bear.
I searched in all its branches,
But not a nut was there.

'Oh, little tree,' I begged,
'Give me just a few.'
The little tree looked down at me
And whispered, 'Nuts to you.'

I'm not very knowledgeable about Sexton but I have studied Plath with great interest. A sad existance and ending to her life... You're poem is excellent, very fitting.
I just finished reading the poems of PLATH, and SEXTAN, the ending of there life is sad, but true....................any way great job...........
Wonderful. Thank you.
