To Touch

Poem By Faith Elizabeth Brigham

we touch
but not enough
we fear
being misunderstood

we touch
trembling unsure
we feel being rejected
would be a kind of dying

we survive
the touch and being touched
to touch is to feel
to feel is to be alive

This was an enjoyable read. To touch, is to live. In the right circumstances, a gentle touch can make the world seem a little more bearable. Thank you. Kindest Regards Slim.
