Tommorow

She wakes up everyday looking for something
deep down she'll never find
She sees his eyes in one
his child in another
but never the real person

Sits and crys in the back of her closet
hoping to find him before her feelings overcome
before she takes the razor to her wrist
wiping her eyes saying
maybe one more tommorow

Searching
she finds a ring like the one
She hears his laugh in someone else
She cleans the house
for when he finds her
Smoothing the sheets
on the side of the bed that was supposed to be his

Sits and crys in the back of her closet
hoping to find him before her feelings overcome
before she takes the razor to her wrist
wiping her eyes saying
maybe one more tommorow

Tommorow comes and he doesn't
She goes out to look again
for the umpteenth time
Walking the streets searching the faces
Sees his eyes in one
his child in yet another
but still no him

She runs home

Sits and crys in the back of her closet
wishing she had found him
before it was too late and her feelings overcame
before she took the razor to her wrist
wiping her eyes saying
no more tommorow
