Too Late

Someday he’ll try to brush the cold feeling of loneliness off his shoulders
Then her soft face will slowly drift into his mind
The one he had left behind
She had loved him and told him so all the time
He will regret the way he treated her
And realize he truly cared, but it will be too late
For she no longer would shred a tear
He took her for granted, and used her as well
Never seemed to notice her sweet intentions
And her way of caring, it began to eat at him
You could tell
He’d miss her deeply and desired her too
He wished to change the hands of time
If only he could go back and rewind
He would listen and appreciate her more
Show he had feelings and give love to the one
He had and would always adore…
