Travels

Poem By Parmanand Mahabir

Butterfly!
Here I am Spread,
And this is my bed.
I have painted my petals pink,
And it is the loveliest view my flower has to offer to make you blink.
Sit on my divan for an offer,
And I will let you taste my nectar;
For when tomorrow comes I will paint my petals green.
Butterfly - here have your fill - and let me dream.

It's A Beautiful Morning Outside:

Beautiful - beautiful morning outside,
Bright with the sunshine and glows in the sky.
Birdies are singing and dewdrops are falling:
It's a beautiful morning outside.

Deceptions:

When I look across the ocean and I see the sky aglow,
I am convinced heaven is on other row;
But deception of my senses let me have another dream;
Things are not the same as appearances make them seem.
