Trials And Tribulations

Poem By Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

I face Trials and Tribulations
As my day goes slowly on,
I face Highs and more Frustrations
When things often do go wrong.
My day like that of others,
Will not ever smoothly go,
So why do I expect it,
As I watch the hours go slow?

I try to keep my temper
When things start to go wrong,
But it is often impossible
As my medicines make my frustrations strong.
I do not mean to shout
When you put me into stress,
But however calm I try to be,
I’ll not get out from this mess,
Unless I take things calmly
Start again and ‘count to ten’,
While those Trials and Tribulations
Rear their ugly head again.
