Triangle

Poem By ovidd bcw

What Lord, God, have I done
to deserve what has
become

For I have found my
Emptiness

and can move no further
past my failing

but see your pureness
and all its promise
yet I cannot reach
its fruit

My shortened stretch
but bobbles

this fruit of chastity
your golden apple,
dangling before the plethora
of earthly treasure
to which I have succumbed

and cannot grasp
your perfect grace

its virtuous
inner light,
shining love eternal

leaving
left alone
its perfect truth
that always was
and always shall
be always true
within my inner eye
