Trinity’s Blasphemous Name

How many follow and how many lead?
Which are the chosen and which are the fools?
Acting out an attempt to sedate your spirit
Trapping it between their empty words
And holy names
God compels me to rebuke you
Pledges and portions of prayer treasures

A semiprecious stone around your neck
Thirty one years to beg for a dollar
Trinity’s disease drying up the need

How many sell and how many buy?
Which the reasons and which are the lies?
In place of salvation for your soul
Trapping it between their empty words
And holy names
God compels me to question you
And your pledge to interpret the truth

Master at the pulpit
Pointing his finger down towards me
Saying “you are the sin and you are the disease”
I admit I stand opposed
To your judgments and hatred towards me
I ask you “what have you to save me now? ”

Punishment and repentance
And you expect my penance
So your semiprecious stone may tug me under
And pull me to the bottom
