Twelve

Poem By Safiyyah Manjra

These days apart,
Between the barricades of love and sympathy.

The agony that lies,
Within this small heart.

Little do I know the reason I tell lies.
The truth of confession seems to compromise.

I am not sure.
As to why I feel misery within this cure.

Unexplained percussions.
Speak their movements as uncalled predictions.

I am lost with chaos.
Feels so aloof in this havoc.

How do I erase this feeling?
I feel as it is consuming my every being.

The pain of the heart.
After trying something which once kept you together.

Be someone they can rely on,
Take care of them and feel as one.

Brush your fingers through my hair,

Never Ending Love.

I want you to really say those words this time,
The ones which make my mind intertwine.

It has been too long with this tension.

No Wrong Or Right

That is why it is good to like someone,
Who resembles no one.

Then you like the person for their true character,
