Two Devils

THE TWO DEVILS

I feel your pains like I'm the sufferer
But my mother is no Alcmene
And I am not fathered by any Zeus-kind
Why then invite me into the game of the fortunate fast furious few?
You only post me in a puzzling position.
I will befriend none of you,
Both of you are mortal evils.
I'm the pagan between hell and heaven,
Tilting towards no direction.
If heaven so cares, let it snatch my soul;
And if hell so dares, let in swallow my remains.
None of you will have me alive!
I know the size of my mouth
I know the morsel it can take!
