Two Wheeled Freedom

Poem By Marie Rider

The wind in my hair
The feel of the noon day heat
The sun on my face

My engine is loud
My heart is beating quickly
My eyes stream with tears

I could feel better
I could end all of my pain
I could, I could end

Slight veer to the left
Passing cars come rushing by
Just an accident

Darkeness consuming
Overwhelming body pain
I find peace at last

I Hate Myself For Hurting You

I hate myself for hurting you
Something I never meant to do
If only I could take it back
Get our lives back on track
