Un Me Do

Poem By Lawrence S. Pertillar

Don't do unto me.
Just un me do from you, period.
Too old am I now.
To play the same mind games.
As if children we remain.
Relying on tit for tat.
To expect from me a wasted time for that.
Today my thoughts seem to stay,
On chilling out and being relaxed.
I recommend you do the same.
And store in mothballs that childish act.
Grow up.
Find something else.
Mature to endure through it.
With me your pettiness no longer attracts.
Don't do unto me.
Thinking I will be returning it back.
I am no longer young or dumb.
Or seeking your tricks to undo your traps.
Un me do.
Like I undid you too long ago,
To wish it remembered.
Un me do.
Be gone.
