Unknown Tears

Poem By Elizabeth Stone

Whose tears am I crying?
One is talking, one is lying.

You were supposed to come through the wind.
I opened my arms for you.
It seems, that one of us has sinned.
Who is deceiving and who is true?

Alone I stand in the middle of the wind.
Alone I stand, covered in snow.
It seems, that you were the one who had sinned,
yet you get to be the one to go.

Whose tears am I crying?
One is walking, one is dying.
