Unlived

Poem By Kate Hutson

Too much passed is carried,
Some joy but more hurts.
Hearts filleted over years
Bleeding into the future.
Blood staining dreamlands,
Hopes aborted by ghosts.
Misty greyness clouded
By what was and may be.
Unlived, loved or heeded,
The present slips away.

A nice one, try to break it off in stanzas of 4
what a poem presenting so clearly the great dangers the human faces and then falls such a falling described here sad yet that sadness somehow for the reader uplifting knowing the other struggles a fine poem
