Unseen Blessings

UNSEEN BLESSINGS
By Freeyad Ibrahim

We only know grace after we lose it
We often have treasures without knowing
Treasures known only to the needy
Who do not have those treasures hidden from your eyes
One poor man said:
I was crying
Because I was walking
Barefoot
But I stopped crying
When I saw a man
Without feet

Powerfully written poetry and so very true. Lovely, dear friend
I was crying Because I was walking Barefoot But I stopped crying When I saw a man Without feet.......touching expression with great theme. One mustn't compare with other and should be satisfied with what he has got as per karma(action) . A beautiful poem so nicely executed.10
I stopped crying When I saw a man Without feet..... this is beautiful. really my dear friend..... a self reflection that leads to self knowledge, the way we think, the way we are so selfish not caring for the sorrows of others.. thank u dear poet. tony
THREE: Thank you Freeyad for your gorgeous poem with tad humor. I like that very much. A myriad 10´s of thanks for you. God´s Blessings in Abundance.
TWO: resembles also those in my country of birth: A man was complaining because he had only one leg, but his neighbour said: You must be thankful, you are lucky you have still one leg, think of all the others with no legs at all....That´s why I revisit this poem....those tellings are still echoing in my mind. Thank you Poemhunter for publishing Freeyad´s poem here, so it is presented just like that.
