Unspoken Chapter

Poem By Eliseo Rivera

My life is like an open book
Has everyone has had a look
But only one managed to write a chapter
A section of my life which can't be erased
And I dare not face
Cause it was written with such aggression
It caused me pain and depression
A chapter which has only been read
But never said
And was written in black ink not lead
Written with such perfection
It's still fresh in my head
The black ink darken my heart
Destroying my soul from the start
I wish the pages could be torn
That way I would've never been born
The author never wrote again
Bounding me to this pain
She's in someone else's book
And all I can do is stare
Watch as her eyes glows with flare
Into the eyes of another
She just doesn't understand how much I love her
This chapter cannot be found in the index
Because it's much too complex
So as you read the last words
Just know that this chapter and my heart will remain forever hers

Comments about Unspoken Chapter

what is now a chapter will one day be relegated to a paragraph then a sentence, a word, a comma...... enjoy the blank pages! !
