Nature, prodigal beyond measure
Writes an involuntary and unconscious memoir
With rash fingers: life is nothing without appearances

Investigative to the point of atrocity
Stomaching the indigestible
Shunning indignant sufferers

We alone with fabricated purpose
We alone: inexorably enforcing
Exerting cruelty through sacrifice, demanding
Self-presumption of the most fatal kind

Death is a master from Germany
A man traversing a rope stationed above an abyss
Annihilating the insidious
Displacing the eagle and serpent

I have had Caiaphas put in fetters.
If I let my thoughts roam I find no one.
