In Cause Truth Risk All Truth Defend

Lies are told by those too scared,
too lazy, or too naive to tell the truth.
But predominantly lies are told
by master manipulators who seek
to conquer others exploit divide.
Enlightened souls must tell truth
in cause truth risk all truth defend.

Dedicated to Rachael Hardy, and to all people in need, feeling alone hurt rejected, may someone many reach out; and beginning the healing gift of love in your lives.
Rejection can destroy a life hate can destroy a soul, love will not heal until we live in love, in our suffering and sorrow we can choose life, choose to give to broken souls who need our love, choose to give to family friends strangers, in smiles of appreciation is the gift of love, in fingers reaching out in hope is the gift of love, in eyes embracing beauty is the gift of love, in hearts awaking breathing is the gift of love, to give freely is to receive freely healing love, in love for others gift given is a harvest of love, live in the beauty breaths blessings of beautified love. Kim Barney I share your sentiments and also hope Rachael Hardy is alive well and prospering, and all others feeling alone hurt rejected, may someone many reach out and beginning the healing gift of love in your lives.
Very sad and moving poem. Well written thoughts vividly expressed.
Rachael, I hope you are alive and well. Your poem starts out by saying you would rather die than cry, and ends on a negative note as well. You have not submitted a poem to this site since 2009. I sincerely hope your life has gotten better since you wrote this poem. Best wishes.
This is for me too introspective, to say anything about the human condition. No observation, just a rant full of self pity and negativism. Not for me.
