V-Day: Part 2

Poem By Stephanie Smith

Valentine's Day came with a start
It's getting to the difficult part
Fun and chocolate with all my friends,
But you were driving me round the bend.

At home I turned on my mobile phone
And I was surprised to hear the message tone.
I eagerly pressed the button 'read'...
It was like a moment from a dream

I was your valentine, you were mine!
This day was absolutely divine.
Until my cousin interfered
I nearly ended up in tears...

Friendship

Our friendship is round,
Just like a ring.
Where it will end or begin.
Nobody knows how it will go,

If It Were A Perfect World...

If it were a perfect world, there wouldn't be
homelessness, hunger or hopelessness
If it were a perfect world, there wouldn't be
tears, trouble or tantrums

My Special Talent

I was never the best at anything.
Or maybe only for a while.
Just as I thought I might be.
I went into denial.

Life Is Unfair

Life is Unfair, Oh yes it is.
I don't have a fairy godmother, pop, bang whizz.
Who will make things better in a wave of her wand,
Or even for those of whom I'm fond.

No Chance

After we walked out of that room
I never knew I would see you so soon
They are planning for us to meet again.
But I thought only God knew when.

My Crush

My life is a mess,
My crush thinks I'm wierd.
I've been cut off from the world,
to drown in my fears.
