Walk On Water
In a daydream lips soft, and tender
by Kewayne Wadley
Bite in the wake of anticipation.
The thought of collapsing lungs fill with the thought you.
Lips pressed tight, awaiting the tide to crash against the shore.
It won't be long now.
To feel the waters of everlasting bliss.
Lost in an ocean of thought.
Slight ripples that no longer ache.
Fulfilled by lips tightly pressed.
Your hand in mine.
A silent prayer for longevity.
Your lips against mine.
You stand on your toes, the tide crashes against the shore.
Collapsing lungs breath in your very essence.
The impatience of waiting on this very moment beads way in the mist left behind.
Stepping off of the shore.
Into the tide of everlasting bliss.
With the seal of lips, never to part.
As we became each others breath
