Walls Turn Tables By Akinwale Peace

Walls turn tables.
(Kyrielle poem 1)

There is no much long I can say
B'fore this hairs for years turn a-grey;
Crying tears speaks in parables,
Only the walls could turn tables.

The wall whose ear is the world's ear
who hears the words in its sweet tear;
A wailing string whose chirp fables,
Only the walls could turn tables.

We pass messages while crying
Deaf ears; good as death is wailing;
Crying tears speaks in parables-
Only the walls could turn tables.

Only walls of ease and comfort
Only walls of gentle; wild forth;
Wild and mild your heart walls' tables-
Only the walls could turn tables.

Live or die; cry beneath a sea
It can't speak but it hears and see;
Crying tears speaks in parables-
Only the walls could turn tables.
