Wanderlust

Poem By Elizabeth Rebel

Moonbeams and sunrays
Have faded away
Leaving only our bodies
In the forest
Molding souls
And heady sighs
Feeling like we
Can touch the sky
Or sink into the earth
Gold melted on our skin
Searing heat that brands
Your lips on mine
Everything is fine
Because tomorrow is
Far away from now
Hours away is
Light-years from here
The guilt hasn’t found
A way passed you’re
Possessing fingers
And into my breast
For now, there is
No one else
There is only
Wandering hand
And wandering eyes
That have found my thighs
Somewhere he’s waiting
For me to appear
But I know that
We must continue
This mating dance
Because everything is
Sprinkled in a
Passion-gold dust
Everything is covered
In Wanderlust
