Waves

Poem By Jake Whitehead

The wave curdles along a line of fog
The wind brings the sea to a slient but deadly crest
Crashes incur a deathly shudder upon the ever supersticious townsfolk

Silence
Hush
Nothing

Ripples of death draw lines along the beach
Lines which can't be erased by a simple sun
Lines which turn red in the mystic night

Tis' the sea that rules ya' know
Not the sun nor the Earth
But the sea

A shadow casts it's long overcoat
Across the silent capers of the unforgiving waters

Silence
Hush
Nothing
