We'Re Making Our Memories

We're making our memories
Dear Esther once said.
Just a small thought,
But it stuck in my head.
And now, as my mom
Lies within I.C.U.,
I know why God lets us
Make memories, too.
To cushion the heartaches
We really can't bear
Alone with our thoughts
Our sweet memories share.
God truly is kind
And his wisdom abounds
When alone at the end
Oour sweet memory's found.
