Poem By James Davies

Sunrise on the eastern front
Dawn approaches with mist
The ground is in and flooded with gems
Clouds spread in ocean of sky
Ocean sky of birds swimming
Out of the ground tall giants rise
Giants of green hair and moss coats
Slight rain shimmering in sheet
Waterfall in the air calm and fading
Rivers of air burst banks and sweep
Clouds are torn by the floods
An ocean holds above flooded world
Sheets of emerald cling to the ground
Water on emerald never sliding off
Gold now puddles the emerald
Shimmer of heat
Life awakens
In the dances of the world
Across sheets of sapphire
Light of gold shimmers in dawn
As great forces move through sapphire
As swimming birds of ocean above
Swim down to find life
Small rubies appear
A force dies in torment
The weather moves on

A Road Ahead And A Road Behind

I look ahead, the road is empty
My life in a stride is longer
My heart flowing with pride
The sun hath risen in great momentum

In Time Forgotten

Tempus Memoriam
Of times that I remember such life
The seeds have been sown of
New generation reborn in this life

Walking The Shadows

I have entered by some means the corridors of shadows,
Ever going on never ending.
Through some power I cannot halt in my quest to leave,
The corridors of shadows.

In Our Hearts We Know

So see our love now in life
In love we have one but truth
Where winter casts but a shadow in its dark wake
That life we once knew happiness
