What Are Friends For?

Poem By Leise Landreth

I know that you are hurting,
You want to run and hide,
But I want you to remember,
Ill always be by your side.

And every time you cry,
I will always be there,
With a shoulder to lean on,
And a heart that really cares.

So when youre feeling lonely,
Or down and feeling blue,
Ill be the one thats thinking,
When you havent got a clue.

You can trust me with your secrets,
Ill chase away your fears,
Be the friend that you need,
And dry away your tears.

When youre in need of help,
Ill open up my door,
and take every step with you,
Cause thats what friends are for.

She Sits Alone

She sits in the corner all alone.
She doesn't have a friend to call her own.
Sitting, waiting, feeling left out.
Her only choice is to sit there and pout.

She feels this pain, but no one cares.

Why was I stuck with the worst best friend?

Even though we'd be friends 'til the end.

The Greatest Feeling

One kiss,
A moment’s bliss.
My heart cold as night,
Has been given a great fright.
