What Could She Be Feeling Today

Poem By Oropher Tîwele

What could she be feeling today.

She came in today and said things didn’t seem the same.

I wonder why I feel this way.

Migraine headaches, distorted images, visual hallucinations.

Family history, she showed signs of distorted space, time and body image.

Have a feeling that my entire body, parts have been altered in shape and size.

Viral infection could it all be the same.

Small, wide, tweedle dee and tweedle dum.

What could she be feeling today?

You fight, scream, whine.

Jump, kick, shout, and stamp your feet.

Why are we here today.

Will we be here tomorrow.

Pity Pot

It's all right to sit on your pity pot every now and again.

Don’t be afraid to cry and show you care.

Wonderful Day!

The sun is up, warm today and so are you.

I can feel you next to me.

Look at my face.

See into my eyes.
