What's A Child To Do?

Here I stand all alone
Seeking understanding to help me grow strong.
When my parents turn their backs
and refuse to understand,
I lack the desire to be my best.
I will not apply myself.
I'm angry so I will fight.
How can I fight?
I can fight by not reading to my best.
I can fight by not writing to my best.
Not learning my school work.
But, you're not fighting your parents or the school.
You're fighting yourself
and when you fight yourself,
YOU LOSE.
