What The Dead Must Know

I sit here among the graves
reflecting on life
I sit among the dead and think about life.
It is so peaceful here
only the birds, the wind and the
mosquitoes
I long for the kind of life the dead know
The eternal life
without pain
without fear
only with love
I long for the day when I too can share
in this special uncontested love
in the joy of knowing that I am free.
