When I Am Judged
We curse because our parents did
We drink alcohol because most adults do,
Our friends smoked, so we did to
Our backbone and common sense we all hid.
I called him worthless because of my dad
I called them a racist name because of my brother,
I'll belittle her because of my mother
Now when I look back at myself, I get mad.
I cannot blame my actions because of she
I cannot blame my bigotry because of them,
Never will I blame my hatred because of him
When I am judged, it will be all because of me.
