When The Sun Descends

When the Sun Descends
When the evening befalls,
And the sun after tiresome journey,
Of the day folding the sheets of light,
Descends behind the yonder hills,
Along with the birds your memories,
Fly back too, to nestle in the deep recesses,
Of the valley of my crowded mind, and they
At the dark night agonize, trouble me much.

Excellent word painting of the sunset. Very expressive and very wise. Regards, Sandra
