When You See Her

When you see her
you don't see me.
She's a different person,
or at least she's trying to be.

When you see her
you don't always see me.
She's sometimes nice,
and sometimes mean.

When you see her
you don't see me.
When she does something wrong,
she covers it up with a good deed.

When you see her
you don't see me.
She always makes a fool
of herself and makes a big scene

That person that
you see, it's me.
She struggles everyday
to set herself free.
