Poem Hunter
White Birds
SO (USA / )

White Birds

They seem as seagulls
Gathered for the day.
Rejoicing free in life,
Each other
Dives upon the same.

Seems there lies
Some great beast
Shallow beneath the waves,
Seems the gathering
Is for feasting,
The sport to last the day.

They wait offshore,
Patient as they lay,
Before they hunger,
Death provides the prey.

Hi Sandra, Really enjoyed this unique poem esp. the last verse.10 for the image of arrogance they glow with. Thanks for sharing.
