White Cadillac
BS ( / )

White Cadillac

He pulls up outside
In a big white cadillac
Stetson, leather boots, Big cigar
He's been having fun
He forgot about the one
The one that's been alone with a broken heart

He could never see
The tears she would not cry
Nor the hurt, disappointment in her eyes
He is about to know
The hard road of her life
When he steps in and turns that key
And finds she's not inside

Big long white cadillacs
Off with the boys but I'll be back
While you're out having fun
She's been alone but found someone
Money can't buy happiness
I guess you've tried-
I guess you missed,
Now can you see how it came to this

He walks in
He looks around
Calls her name
But she's not found
Finds a note
She left hanging round
Then sits down
As the tears come down

Big long white cadillacs
Off with the boys but I'll be back
While you're out having fun
She's been alone but found someone
Money can't buy happiness
I guess you've tried-
I guess you missed,
Now can you see how it ended like this.
