Grandma

'This love is like a living force
that makes you move along,
like riding on a willing horse
when you were young and strong.

Children's faces are like flowers,
they're shining in the sun;
they run for miles and sleep for hours;
eyes fill with tears and twinkling fun.

The past is like a thing apart,
cleaning up another mess,
but what can really break your heart
is this rush of happiness.'
