Who Will Cry For The Little Girl?

Poem By Shaneka Taylor

Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl that sleeps
Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl that weeps
Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl that will soon be grown
Who will cry for the little
the little girl who can't make it on her own
Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl who sits and stands
Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl who watches life in her hands
Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl that gives
Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl that lives
Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl that sleeps
Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl inside of me
Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl who used to be ME! !

Dear Mother

How sweet the sound of the word Mother
Like a gentle breeze there is no other.
A Mother teaches us so many different things.
She shows us all the joy and love that life brings.

Hope

My hope for tommorrow is filled with sorrow
Getting fused at day after day.
Sometimes I wish it was the old time way.
Parents giving you the blues.

God's Gift

The story was told
On a night that was cold
Of the birth of our King
The angel's did sing

All Alone

Here I am all alone
Nothing to say just want to go home
The air blowing on my skin
Whose next who will come in

Flame

There's a burn here
And a burn there
Burn on
Burn me everywhere
