Wind Creatures

Poem By James B. Long

AEOLIAN BUTTERFLIES RACE
INTO AIR
BLACK, GOLD, WHITE, FOREST
GREEN, THEY SHIMMER WITH
A SOFT PASTEL SHEEN.
THEY SOAR INTO GENTLE AIR.
BUTTERFLIES - GRACEFUL, EXOTIC,
FAIR.
WHAT LOVELY WINGED
WINDY CREATURES
SOARING, TREMBLING DISAPPEARING
INTO WARM WINDY AIR.
