Wind Through Our Soul
Rays of light rifting throught the trees,
by Mark Anderson
Ocean's roar beckons the light not to fade.
Young woman's smile; a youthful tease,
Yearning of a man becoming old and grey.
Angry words cast in the heat of the moment,
Regretful feelings lost and never spoken.
Moments are captured, a moment lost,
Jesus; the life given to save all of us.
Blue Irises burst upon rolling hills in May,
Gone and forgotten; never become a bouquet.
Dust rises silently in a distant land,
Darkness of evil lives in the heart of man.
Lovers gaze deep into each other's eyes,
City bustling and brimming oblivious to passersby.
Fathers weep at their daughter's wedding,
Mothers sob at the loss of their little darling.
Wind whispers it's song; quiet as new fallen snow,
Strong branches bend as autumn leaves blow.
Long before the creation; the birth of our souls,
Life given by grace is ours to cherish and hold.
