Winter Around Me

The orange sky
of night, smiled
on the still
clouds of breath
that melted softly
in the numb,
silent air.

The silhouette
of December shadows,
and the smoke
of countless wood fires,
closed my eyes.
I slept in the snow and
soundless gardens
of hope.

You actually painted a picture for me, it was great! Thanks! I loved the soundless gardens of hope. Marji: }
