Winter Things That Happen

Poem By sam woody

The excitement of winter break,
Rushing the Winter Wonderland by,
Waiting for the day,
We all have pie.

The joy of family, having aunts and uncles,
Coming to eat,
All waiting and ready,
For a great, giant, feast.

The cold snow,
Falling on the ground,
Packing snow
And making it round.

The day that he comes,
The day that he goes,
Only a minute to spare,
Not a minute to show.

The morning comes
The kids scream and yell,
With presents they got,
They say, “How did he know.”

The excitement has gone,
But has stayed for some,
‘Cause in five days,
A new year will come.
