Within The Light Of A Candle

It was dark
really dark
inside the tired mind
without a single spark

where is the touch that was
Oh everything just come to pass?
where is the voice of joy
left me alone like a fragile glass

oh it feels like a lonely castle
on a black haunted hill
or just like a wandering ghost
that needs rest even in hell

after memories I was chasing
and now nothing but tears are left
and flipping pages of diaries
with some words that were kept

but in the light of a candle
I shall seek my grand hopes
and for a smile to come by me
I shall wait tied within harsh ropes

go to bed you who read
oh now dear just go to bed
rest your mind of my troubles
after all, I know as no one read
