Heart's Desire

A solemn remark. A pointless notice.
A remembrance of you.
My countless omissions of sincerity pass as souls from the earth.
Opportunities wrought with error.

You.
A need I cannot take.
Desire consumes destiny. Yearning devours fate.
I, wrapped in sackcloth and ashes.
My eternal passion, embers burning with unrequited love.
Rapture my pain and release my misery.

My dreams were nothing more.
Apparitions teasing a taste of Heaven.
I am fallen, shattered and broken.
Neither thread nor needle can mend a desolate heart.

Only....You.

VERY PROFOUND WORK & SOCIETAL STATEMENT...CONVICTION IN A POET IS A SYMBOL OF THE POETS CONFIDENCE IN THEIR WORDS.& THIS YOU MOST DEFINITELY HAVE....10! ''''''''''''''''''''''''FRANK
What an interesting sound... all bunched up verbally, opinionated, disgusted, at times angry... like a restless spirit punching the air with its finger.
