When I get hurt or I’m in pain,
by Lozza Bonnick
I let it wash over me, and I don’t complain.
That way, I don’t have to use my voice,
And it doesn’t waste your time pretending to care
I know you don’t, and you think that’s fair.
Everyone thinks you are better than me
Everyone thinks I’m just a small flea
Like I’m nothing to you
Like you’re everything to me
But to me, your just dirt
Dirt that needs to know he can hurt
It hurts when you badmouth me
It hurts when you say you don’t care
But I still don’t say a single word
That, to me, still isn’t fair.
