World's End

At the end of the world lays a glistening sea
The water glimmers in the sunlight as far as the eye can see
The waves rise and fall
Boats are lost as they plummet over the edge
There be monsters say the old sailors
The mysteries still yet to be solved
The treasures yet to be collected
Men both brave and filled with fear travel there
In search of fame and fortune
Yet each boat is pulled over the edge
Plunging into the depths of the unknown
The lives lost and the goals dashed
Resembling ships smashed against rocks
Sailors drawn to their end
Listening to the songs of the Sirens
From those who live only tales of terror come
From those who make it tales of glory spill from their lips
The sea glistens as far as the eye can see
