Worthless

Words slip,
And yet the world remains a silent wasteland
Where only the loneliness speaks.

Words are unspoken,
And yet the world around me screams
In my ears,
Like a light that burns the darkness.

As the days tick by,
As I watch the sun rise,
To only fall
In the end

I think about what I will say,

But,

When it comes down to it,

Words are…

Worthless
