Write Me Something

Poem By Reginald Goodridge

give your fingers
lend your arm
allow your brain
spew good charm

be my poet
give me muse
laugh, you make me
chase my blues

cure my ailment
tickle my toes
fill my senses
excite my nose

write me something
make it smooth
soft and subtle
yet withstand bruise

oh, don't' forget
your signature too
write it all over me
sweet, pure and true...

Consumed by its massive green powers

Clarification on my speech
nothing wrong with saying a truth
I understand it's out of your reach
but I spent too many years in hapless youth

It Just Takes Time

less home work, less english
more quality, more brilliance
try love, do you understand this

The Wanting

we walked it too many times and now I'm tired
famished
extremely ready to make a move
but the time is never quite

Death Of A Sloth

rolling over with equisit form
yawning, gnawing, covered with warm
sentiments, nothing is complex
but all, very simple in context
