Yosemite Winter

Poem By Michael L. Williams

Winter's brink
fireballs descend
cliffs
Half-Dome naked
fire dances.
Flaming snowstorms
red ice on the rock face
sunburnt
canyon walls
cloud-brimmed hat.
White roses cry blood
redwoods massage the chills
exposed
true light
blazes on the heavens.
