You (To My Grandmother'Patsy'Upon Her Death)

I will think of you when the curtain is drawn
Like rays of sunlight that crescent the dawn
Like breezes that cool the silence of night
Whispering meaning to secrets of life
Like blossoms that fell from an old apple tree
Or blue covered heavens that swallow the sea
Like walks in the morning down fresh scented paths
Or showers in summer that never would last
Like teardrops of sadness that speak in the dark
Or memories of laughter on wings of a lark
I will think of you when the curtain is drawn
Each day that will end
And each day that will dawn

You write such beautiful poetry, and nature poetry is by far the hardest to write, yet you put words to it so wonderfully. I'm giving you a 10, I only wish there were a higher score that could be given for you truly deserve it.
It is a wonder that no one but your friend has dicovered your talent. Could it be that............ No I won't say what I think, namely that you might be better off trying pottery. H
I wouldn't worry to wonder if my poems are beautiful or not if I was you. Such a sweet and wonderful write again! I enjoyed it Louise! ~JD~
