You Were Born In My Paradise

Poem By Athee Peter

When life first became you,
You were your Mummy's child;
When life first beheld you,
You were your Daddy's joy;
When life first recognised you,
You were your Brothers' pride;
When life first embraced you,
You were your Sisters' gift;
When life first accepted you,
You were your Friends' grace;
When life first adorned you,
You were a Beauty promised;
When life first made us friends,
You were a Rainbow of hope;
When life first counted you for me,
You were born in my heart.

How grateful am I today!

Broken Dream

Would You Remember My Face Mum?

T'was last in December 1996,
As I lay low and slow
The thirtieth night was reckoned,
The hour mid-night close;
