Youth

Youth we waste when we are young
when our life is just begun.
Wishing half our life away,
to be mature and a have our way.
Then in time we're old and gray
and our thoughts begin to stray.
Next we wish that we were young.
So many things we could have done.
There never is an age to be,
when all these things do agree.
so value the time you have today,
before you wish you life away.
